Will an Afterburner Mini-V work in a WSM 14.5"?

Spoke with Ed this afternoon. He wasn't aware there was a 14.5" WSM available, so he'll need to check out the specs on the grill and possibly look at one in person before he can answer. He's out of town at the moment, but will be back on Thursday and plans to look into in more detail then...

Will an Afterburner Mini-V work in a WSM 14.5"?

Hi All, I plan to use my new WSM 14.5" on camp trips from time to time. The problem I face is that at certain times of the year, California puts fire restrictions in place in certain areas where you can only use gas cookers. My question is will one of the Afterburner Mini-V propane...

The new valve set up, deleted side handles, and new top handle with heat guard only appear to be for the European market. US is just getting the new grate and deleted flavorizer bar.

OSH President's weekend 15% coupon (thru Feb 17th) valid on WSM 14.5"!

I was at OSH this morning to use the 15% off any item coupon when I noticed they carried the WSM 14.5". It retails there for 199.99. The coupon states Weber items are excluded, but I figured I'd give it a try. Sure enough they gave me the 15% off so I ended up getting it for $169.9x plus tax...

    new q2200 sighted today.

ah ok. Yes, my bracket seems strong enough not to cause any deflection. too bad weber doesn't offer the updated bracket separately from the valve...seems as though they can only be purchased together.

    2014 Go-Anywhere Gas Grill - Photo

have a look at this site: http://www.bbqs2u.co.uk/365-weber-go-anywhere-gas-bbq-1141056.html . In the description the new 2014 UK models states "Use the Weber Disposable Gas Canisters (26100) - See accessories tab." When you go to the accessory tab, here is what the 26100 canister looks...

    new q2200 sighted today.

Bought it brand new the very first year the Q120s were made available with the temp gauge....bought it from Orchard Supply Hardware. Validated last night that the hardcopy instructions that came with it stated the use of 14.1 and 16.4 oz canisters as I posted above from the online instructions...

    new q2200 sighted today.

Mine has no support loop and like I pointed out, the Q120 explicitly state the 16.4 oz and the 14.1 can be used in its instruction manual. Digging further I did read on another forum that the very early Q's did have a support loop to limit its use to a 14.1 oz and this was supposedly done...

    new q2200 sighted today.

Really? I never used anything but a 16.4 oz Coleman with my 120....I've probably run close to 15-20 of the Coleman ones thru it without a problem and never modified anything on the grill. Now I'm really curious...what is the perceived issue with using them?? I also just pulled the following...

    new q2200 sighted today.

George: What do you mean by two different sized canisters? The long thin 14 oz vs the 16 oz coleman style? If this is the case was there a problem with the old Qs taking both?

Stainless Steel Flavorizer Plate for WGA gas grill

The porcelain grate on the 2014 WGA-gas is just thin porcelain coated steel, exactly like the original flavorizer plate in the pre-2014 WGA vs the thick porcelain covered cast iron grate on the new Q-line. Having looked at the new WGA grate in person, my assessment is it will rust quickly just...

Stainless Steel Flavorizer Plate for WGA gas grill

As I was searching for a compact portable grill and finally decided on the Weber Go Anywhere gas, I saw a post on this forum that mentioned a guy on ebay, who goes by the id rcplanebuyer, may be willing to make a Stainless Steel Flavorizer plate for the WGA gas since this seems to be a big weak...
