you probably don't need my input by now but I seen one up close at a store and messed w/ it, all of the above is what I noted as well. Its a fine little grill but not comparable to the webers. Depends how interested in grillin you are and how much is in your wallet I guess, good luck.

    Nu Temp Question

the nu temp can only have 1 alarm, like you said. unless you but 2 remote parts, like me. set 1 to low and other to high. I understand you totally, why wouldn't someone think up to make ONE w/ BOTH. I had a temp control unit but struggled w/ it more then w/out one, so sent it back. Best bet...

    problem scenario with ham

I found this but not sure how much help that is because I was looking for your requested "pork butt" or "boston butt" and the two shoulder cuts on that site don't exactly look like what I buy, but maybe it will help you out some I hope. And EVERYONE needs to make this!! That cut would be "2205"...

SMOKEY JOE PLATINUM AIR FLOW PROBLEM

the unitbit is pretty bad a$$ in general and for me at least It will be used for much more then this, depends on your lifestyle I suppose. I visualize this being "the tool" for drilling the wsm or any grill by weber although I havn't laid into mine yet, but it handles a lot of different tasks...

To Mop or not to Mop

sweet! makes since w/ the chicken, I totally (again) agree w/ J. B. I've noticed certain rubs fade w/ a long smoke, although some worse then others. I think thats why its hard for me to make a rub.

i seen a guy on tv mopping his briskit, and it really made me want to try it. And believe me I don't do ANYTHING. no foil, no mop, no peek, hell I dont even do a good job at throwin' the rub on, but that show made me want to try it. Unless im reading incorrectly I think Shawn is saying...

Is this the redesigned charcoal grate or the "classic" ?

hey Robert or "Het" lol. I havn't personally seen this cause I don't own one but here's what i've seen mentioned several times now. in this "mod" thread and in a few other places. Appearantly you can also remove the stop tabs also but I thought that would be not as convenient because often...
