There were 4 left at my local HD. I grabbed all 4. I got them for $9 each with the Veteran discount. I am glad there were not more of them. There were other Weber accessories on sale as well, but no steep mark downs like the grill lights and certainly nothing that interested me.

I am gonna run out and see if my HD has any in stock at $10.

Totally not familiar with that model, but damn, that is cool. Looks like a top notch restoration as well.

Larry, does that stuff require a top coat to protect from UV degradation like with Por15?

Be careful on the eastwood stuff. They sell several Rust remediation products. Some are more like the fluid film and some more like the POR 15 in their use.

Looks like turkey is going to be relatively inexpensive this year for the holidays. I grabbed a Young Turkey about 11 lbs last week at Walmart and cooked it up on the roto on my Genesis. It was $.84 per lb. I think the whole turkey cost me less than ten bucks.

I assumed Ridgid does manufacture their own tools.

Larry, a year or so ago, I did do some extensive searching online for adapters which would allow me to use my Ridgid batteries on other tools....however, it seems Ridgid is very good at somehow preventing this.

Josh, you are sooooo right. I don't know what it is about Weber grills, but they seem to bring out the best in people. I am and have been on several other similar forums. Not just grill ones, but automotive, small engine, etc....... And by far, this is the best one for not only congeniality...

Yah, I am a Ridgid guy and have a good selection of batteries, so, I try to stick to Ridgid battery powered tools. It makes me mad that all the companies are so proprietary though. Battery interchangeability with tools for other companies would be nice as long as they were the same voltage.

It does take a while to heat up, but I can verfiy they will get up over the 500 degree mark easily even on a 110 outlet.

I will vouch for that stuff. It won't "fix" the fade problem, but it does a great job of hiding it and seems to last quite a while.
