I've got a rotisserie for my 18" WSM, maybe best of both worlds to do this cook? Think I'm gonna put this on the 4th of July plan, thanks for the share!
Man, I've got a lot of friends who do earthmoving, pipelining, and other heavy equipment stuff but I've never been around that many axles behind a truck.... Outstanding food and that cutting board is a sweet touch too!
Time to get these photos worked up, some of our cooks were definitely inspired by recent posts from others here and were great hits.
Christmas morning brunch was Scotch eggs and Bloody Marys with homemade juice from the garden.
The plan was to rotisserie a chicken I found in the freezer...
That's no blizzard, that miserable ice and snow has been there since the Tuesday after Christmas. Heck, it hasn't even gotten below zero yet, no reason to quit grilling out.
Thinks to self: Self, I already have three kettles, two WSMs, and a Genesis gasser, there's really no compelling reason why I should want a Ranch kettle too. Then self reads this thread and drools....
We just did 12 pounds of PSB last week, had a gallon freezer bag of my last peppers from the garden that needed to get used up. Tried it in the WFO this time, should have taken the real camera with me that day though didn’t get any good photos.
Marking this for next time I cook a pork shoulder, that pernil and side dishes look great. Just needs a nice caipirinha or mojito to wash it all down with!
Sat down to feed my camera card into Lightroom and edit some stuff since we've got crap weather now, and there's a few that fit in this old thread. It's probably the only time I will do one this way- but hey, when you have a new toy you try new things with it. It was a fine Thanksgiving bird...
