This Siren Call is a lot harder to ignore!

Damn, I'd love to have the right side sideburner assembly as I have one of those sitting in my drive way right now with a roached burner. That thing is a tank. Yes, it can suffer from the fron panel burnout/rust through, but that can be dealt with. I'd be all over it if it was within 30...

Seville cart for sale in my area. What are they worth?

Cool. I'll throw it up over there. No idea how many were made, but the target audience would have been the well to do types who wouldn't think of anything so crass as having a 3 wheeler on their patio. Woodard wrought iron is actually pretty collectible now.

Seville cart for sale in my area. What are they worth?

Ah, thanks. I remember that one now. The first auction was legit, those bids were real, but it turned out that the bottom of the bowl was trashed so they canceled and relisted. So $510 for the cart with a rusted out kettle with holes in it. If the one you linked to just has surface rust...

Seville cart for sale in my area. What are they worth?

Yeah, that's what I'd guess. An unrestored Seville Chariot (which is what this one is) with a lime kettle went for $2600 on Ebay. Granted, limes are pretty rare and highly sought after, but still...

    Pinewood Derby

On my first car, the block had notches at the front and back and 2 wood axles I guess you'd call them. You attached the wheels to them, then those to the block. It then went to like the pic immediately above where there was a small groove and front and back and you drove your little nails in...

Seville cart for sale in my area. What are they worth?

Holy smoked. Value is probably in the hundreds. The real value of course would be if it had the original kettle and ash pan. IIRC, there are subtle differences between a Seville kettle and a regular one. But still, you could just drop a kettle in there and there's a guy over at WKC selling...

17 degrees and snow on the ground.. Time to cook some Picanha

Thanks Cliff. It was kind of funny when I first viewed the vids, I was like "*** is that crunching?" Then I was like "Duh, it's ice you dolt". Thanks Rich. One good thing about the Roti is that I didn't have to spend much time outside. Multiple trips, to be sure, but each one was pretty...

    Just bought a 26

Jon, I'll have to do some searching, but someone else built the one with the side tables (and oh, how I'd love to copy it.). Mine is the drop in, no drill one. I'm supposed to be putting a cut down Ranch front handle on it, but, well, that's one of the parts that hasn't been completed yet...

17 degrees and snow on the ground.. Time to cook some Picanha

So I was sitting around waiting for the Pat's game to start and thought to myself "Dayum, it's freezing outside, but yeah, I need some Picanha. Pulled out a whole sirloin cap, trimmed and sliced it up, vac packed it and dropped it in a sous vide bath at 130 for 1.5 hours or so. During a...

    Just bought a 26

On a phone right now so difficult for me to find the link, but somewhere around here is a thread on my "no drill" mini ranch project. I still haven't completed everything I had planned, but it's been work g just fine for me for a year or two now. Also, someone over at the WeberKettleClub was...

Finding a needle of hope in a haystack of wasted dreams...

I believe those wod be part #9930 and should fit just about every 3 burner Genesis model through 2005. They are seriously sweet.

Congrats on the 26er. I love mine. On phone right now so can't find a link for you, but search around the forum for "mini ranch" or "mini RK". You might like what you find

    Small Brisket time question

Fwiw, the moisture in a brisket comes from the breakdown of the connective tissue and rendering the collagen. Presuming you have good heat deflection, cooking at a higher temp won't hurt anything and will help get through the stall quicker. That said, there's nothing wro g with running at...

    Small Brisket time question

Cook time for partial brisket flats at X chamber temp are based on thickness, not on weight. It's quite possible that a 2lb flat that is 2 inches thick will take just as long to cook as a 6lb flat that is also 2 inches thick.

    Weber Charcoal at $3.90/bag

Guys, if you have the room and can swing it, grab what you can now at this price as you likely won't see it this low again. From what I understand, Weber will continue to make/sell it, but it will pretty much be in boutique/specialty stores, kind of like BGE lump. Home Depot isn't going to...

    Weber Charcoal at $3.90/bag

HD.com search is wrong on this. That happens when an item goes to clearance. It told me that there was none within 100 miles of Louisville either. BS told me otherwise. https://brickseek.com/home-depot-inventory-checker/?sku=300620528 Midwest City #3911 1600 S Sooner Road Midwest City...
