    Genesis side burner conversion question

Again, I'm going off generalities I've observed. This one seems to be a different model he has. It's why I expressed using caution. I don't even know if all gen 2 Summits are like the ones I converted. So, again note I expressed using caution. Also running 2 different fuels seems like a waste of...

    Genesis side burner conversion question

Absolutely. However another word of caution. Again having never looked inside one of those grills. But if it's anything like the 2nd gen Summits I've converted you should have no issue at all. If it is an issue you will know immediately. Because on low the burner(s) will not stay lit and will...

    Genesis side burner conversion question

I've not seen a side burner for that model. However, if it is made similar to the older Genesis it will have a continuous valve like a kitchen stove. You will know this quite simply. If the valve has distinct "steps" then what I will tell you will not work. If however it behaves more like a...

Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

I drink a lot of Cameron's Velvet Moon. It's an espresso roast quite flavorful and smooth. I found a James Hoffman video that I found quite interesting explaining what "espresso roast" means. Cameron's is nice stuff though. Comes out of St Cloud MN Here is that video. It's an interesting watch

Hopefully the owner didn't do anything stupid to the lid beside slapping some paint on it

Oh, I thought you were wanting to use new burners on a Silver A not mod them for use in a Jr.

I will just leave this here

My understanding is they're the same burners as a regular Genesis (but I don't recall if the 1xxx or the B/C type) but the fire boxes are the same dimension width wise

Coffee Beans what's in your grinder ???

Saw this yesterday at Costco. And decided to give it a try today. Though I'd just gone through my KitchenAid conical burr grinder and decided to give it a whirl with these beans. Oddly the KA grind profiles tend to be much finer than a Baratza (either conical or flat). So when I brewed at the...

Lazy Old Weber Guy Here - Thinking of the Searwood: What's all the fuss over Grill Marks?

I honestly think for a reasonably priced pellet grill the Searwood really has it all going

Lazy Old Weber Guy Here - Thinking of the Searwood: What's all the fuss over Grill Marks?

If I was forced to whittle it down to one, it would definitely be a high quality pellet grill. I find (now that I've learned how to really use them), I can make it do anything I want. Maybe not the absolute best at one or 2 things but all around I can't think of anything better to hang my hat...

I have to say, if I'd gotten my Big Z before getting my Wolf (or any gasser for that matter) I would not bother to buy one. Yeah, I like them that much
