Went to Costco today. They have fresh butterball turkeys for $0.99/lb. They have both the big Tom turkeys (20+ lbs) and the smaller hen turkeys. I picked up a 14.5 lb hen which is right in the sweet spot for doing on the roti in the kettle. Will be doing the Weber Apple recipe as usual 😏

For those who live near a Raleys, they have frozen turkeys on sale for 0.67/lb. The sizes range from 8 to 20lbs. Limit 1 per customer.

Went to Costco today. Didn't see any K-Pro at all so it looks like some stores anyway have sold their remaining stock, so that's it until spring. At least at the Costco I shop at. Glad I picked up 3 twin packs there a couple weeks ago!

Hello all. The heating elements on the stovetop burners are slowly giving out. The oven still works fine. Rather than replace the heating elements, my wife and I have decided to just replace it in the next few months. It's an electric Kenmore with a glass stovetop. Not going to get another...

I haven't either. I use it mostly in the WSM, and in the Jumbo Joe when we're going to the coast, and it works fine. The smaller bag is handy when traveling since it takes up less space.
