A lot of Mexican markets have huge bags of Mesquite lump for cheap. I use it once in a while, great for carne asada.

Nice, baby backs are still $5/lb unfortunately. Walmart currently has Smithfield baby backs for $3.24, St. Louis cut for $2.94, and full sparerib for $1.94/lb. This is in SoCal.

Sucks that Do It Best no longer carries it, they had the best price (about $24 for 40lbs). Royal Oak All Natural from Walmart seems like a similar product, but smaller size briquettes.
