    Where did everybody go?

I too have been away for a while. After hurricane Matthew flooded us, I have finally finished rebuilding the house (and landscaping). Now plan to spend more time cooking and visiting this forum. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Ray

Way to go Top Sergeant! Glad you are enjoying life and welcome to this board. I was with the 3rd ACR in the 60's with their Aviation Troop assigned to Hoppstadten (west of Baumholder). Loved it. Enjoy it here. Ray

I Hate Meeces To Pieces. And Rats, Too.

What a story! I have not had any problems with rodents. Squirrels have chewed thru my gasser lines causing deck area to smell like propane. Had to replace the lines twice. That was in NC and now that I have moved to SC, I am watching the squirrels closely. Keep us updated.

    Hate Cancer!

Good luck to you Phil. I can resonate because I have had numerous basal cells removed and even one melanoma (in situ). All from sun exposure many many years ago. I see my dermatologist regularly and have precancersvremoved are almost every visit. Ray

    Vortex Tuna with Asparagus

Great looking tuna. Is that just salt and pepper for seasoning? If you want to try something a bit different, I grind up a mixture of coriander seeds and black mustard seeds and use that for seasoning tuna. Thanks for the beautiful pics. Ray
