The One touch Platinum with a newer Premium or Master -Touch bowl ( with lid vent more on the side) would be a perfect kettle, side tables with cart and fairly small footprint compared to a standard Performer. Please post pics after you replace the bowl.

Bumping an old thread How did you hook the blue kettle to the performer cart? I want to do this with a red kettle. Are there brackets somewhere that will allow a kettle to be attached to the Performer cart?

When we moved the movers dropped my 2015 Performer kettle lid and it dented, Weber sent a brand new one I didn't have to pay a dime, this was last year. Not sure if you can call again and get them to send you a new lid, they may want you to send a picture of the damaged lid.
