    22 Kettle Stainless Steel Grate

Since Amazon no longer carries the Grill Care 17436 SS 22.5" grates, I wanted to see if anyone else does. A Google Shopping search for "Grill Care 17436" had a link to Groupon that said "Grill Care Company Weber Compatible Replacement Parts: 22.5" SS Hinged Grid Silver" for $19.99 each...

    22 Kettle Stainless Steel Grate

The Grill Care SS grate is no longer sold at Amazon. If you follow the link in that thread, it brings you to the standard Weber 7436 plated grate. The same guy selling the SS charcoal baskets is also selling a 22" SS grate for $39 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B01F6FEXNS/tvwb-20

    Genesis ES-300 rotisserrie on a 22.5" kettle?

If you are asking about the Weber 7519 rotisserie kit for the Genesis, then no, it will not work. The spit for the Genesis is square and machined round in two spots so that it can spin in the Genesis' firebox grooves. Those rounded areas are too far apart for the Weber 2290 kettle rotisserie...

Stubbs natural briquettes, $2.50 a bag

Found a store near me selling for $2.25 a bag. I ordered 23 and used a $10 off $50 coupon. Net $1.82/bag or 12 cents a pound! Screw those Memorial Day KBB "sales", lol Oh man, my wife is going to kill me. I already picked up 25 bags about a month ago for $4 each.

    Rotisserie Question

Yeah, I started with full chimney's of Stubbs or RO lump, split between two baskets. However, with the lid on, temps would reach a little over 400 and chicken skin would come out burnt in a lot of spots. For my last cook with 2, four pound chickens, it stayed under 350. Skin browning was...

    Rotisserie Question

For you people using 3/4 chimney for rotisserie cooks, are you able to complete the entire 1.5-2 hour cook for chickens without adding new charcoal? Most charcoal tends to burn out around the 60-70 minute mark

Stubbs natural briquettes, $2.50 a bag

Interesting. TheSweetHome found Stubbs was the hottest charcoal they tested in their briquette shootout http://thesweethome.com/reviews/best-charcoal-for-grilling/#runnerup

Going for a brisket Friday night.

I've only seen flats at a couple of the regular Bay Area Costco stores that I've been to. However, the Costco Business Center in Hayward off of A Street does sell choice packers.

How can I save a few bucks on a new purchase?

Certain Home Depots are clearing out the Performer Premium for $199. One way to find them is to see which stores around you are selling it for regular price: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Weber-Performer-Premium-22-in-Charcoal-Grill-in-Black-15401001/205504258 Then, call stores not listed, see if...

    Rotisserie Basket Question

I just evaluated baskets for the Kettle Rotisserie last month. There are 3 types of metal used: non-stick, chrome-plated and stainless. I initially wanted a stainless steel basket to avoid rust issues. The only true stainless models I could find were by OneGrill and Fire Magic. However, they...
