Chuck roast pastrami on the EX6

I’ve had good luck with chucks. I wrap late, around 175, and pull them around 190 for rest before slicing. I like mine sliced not pulled. Then taco 🌮 time with the leftovers!

Reddit post on a Genesis 2000 Redhead brand new.

Oh yeah, I totally agree. If I was in the market for a new gas grill I would pay probably close to $800 to get this....can't say for sure. But would definitely want this over anything being released in today's market.

Reddit post on a Genesis 2000 Redhead brand new.

These were what...$450 new back in the day? Current Genesis at Costco is what, $750 or so? I would go to that amount for this for sure. But thankfully I am a very responsible adult.

New The Huntsman Kettle Kamado Grill from Spider coming.

So the other night I did my first apples to apples comparison of my Performer and the Huntsman. I did indirect cooks at a higher heat 280-300. I used BnB in both and used one charcoal basket in each poured from a chimney with about the same amount of fuel in each cooker. I did not use the Venom...

    Belly and a Butt

Did my first pork belly yesterday. Put a smaller butt on late Saturday night and let it go until it was about 185. Wrapped it and put it on the Genesis to finish. Put the belly on around 7:30am at 260. Used hickory and cherry I scored the belly and did a paste on it and some rub. Let it go for...

I really love that first photo with everything on the grill! That's a great example of what a Kettle/Performer can do!

    Pork Belly today

What temps and about how long did that take? It looks great and I have one to do this weekend along with a pork butt...trying to time when I put on the belly so that it finishes around the same time as the butt...

    Tuff Tri Tip

Interesting topic...the only meat I ever even consider washing is fish and I typically don't do it. I never wash other proteins and sometimes not even the vegetables.

    Combo Cooks- Cabin and Home

Spent one night at the cabin then returned home. Sunny weekend here…so used the ole kettle at the cabin any my Performer last night. Saturday was ribeye time and some beautiful focaccia! Also did some roasted cauliflower on the Genesis. Came home and did some pork tenderloins with a layered...

    Weber Parts Deals

Here they are. 24 years old! The tongs have been used continuously. Who knows how many thousands of pounds of meat they have grabbed! Anyone know if this company is still around? These things have been so sturdy

    Weber Parts Deals

The problem with these sets is that all I really use are the tongs. I have the same tongs and spatula I bought in 2001 when I got my Gold B. Tongs are starting to wear out a bit but I hardly use the spatula so it has a ton of life left.
