    Cars Cars Cars

Mine isn't even a 5th wheel, just a pull behind travel trailer and it has a rated cargo capacity of a little over 4,000 pounds. Even the heftiest side by side is around 2500ish pounds or something around there. My lifted Onward is a little heavy for a golf cart but only comes in around 1200...

Concerned my Weber Crafted Griddle is not seasoning correctly

Yeah, there was too much oil on there. You might start with a tablespoon but you use a paper towel to spread it around and you should leave a layer that's very thin more like it's just evenly greasy to the touch. Heat it up until it starts smoking then turn off the heat and let it cool. The...

    Cars Cars Cars

Some 5th wheels and trailers are toy haulers and some are not. If the back has a big ramp/door it is a toy hauler and it's designed for that.

    Cars Cars Cars

Yep, the back door is also a ramp. the cart rolls right up into the camper. Then while using the camper, the ramp serves as a "party deck" back patio.

    Cars Cars Cars

I spent most of my adolescent and adult life dreaming about the sports cars and whatnot ... Swore that before I died I would own a 911 Turbo. Now at 51 I'm living a new dream. 32' toy hauler to haul this... ClubCar Onward lifted AC Pulled with my Infiniti QX80 AWD. We spend our...

    S6 is here.

I've been using up my stockpile of B&B briquets, but I bought a bag of B&B lump that I'm going to use next few cooks to see how differently it reacts.

I'll be interested to hear your take on it. I didn't expect to love mine as much as I do. Lol

Steak Night with Green Chile Au Gratin Potatoes

With steak we typically have baked potatoes, but I decided to do something different tonight. Green chile au gratin potatoes in the cast iron. I made the sauce first. Diced onion cooked down in butter, added flour for roux, after it browned a bit I added milk and shredded cheese and stirred...

Considering Genesis Smart Grill. Some questions.

Sorry. Didn't mean to be a mood killer. Lol. I'll say this, every time I use the grill I like it more and more. And, I love the idea of the half and half griddle and grill, full time. I still might land there with mine.

    Instant pots and rice

I run the rice cycle which is 15 minutes for white rice. Just FYI

    Instant pots and rice

I have the instapot and use the stainless bowl. I LOVE the perfect sticky rice it makes. So, what you need to do is turn off the "keep warm" option when you first start the rice cycle. That's what makes it burn and stick to the bottom. Then I let it do natural release for 10 minutes when it's...

Project idea: 22" Kettle in a portable Jumbo Joe format

Project idea: 22" Kettle in a portable Jumbo Joe format

This looks promising. Just need to find attaching hardware.

Project idea: 22" Kettle in a portable Jumbo Joe format

I've been mulling this idea for a project for a long time. I love my Jumbo Joe for its portability and that it locks the lid so you can carry the whole thing with the lid handle. I use it when we're in the camper to grill dinner and then after we eat I just toss some firewood on top of the hot...

I've done that before, and now that you mention it, I see it in my future as well. Lol

New Life For My Beloved SSP

So, as I've told the story on here several times, I bought a WSK on a $750 discount last year for cyber Monday. I had heard so much about them and I wasn't convinced that it was really better than my trusty redhead SSP and WSM. And, I figured at the deep discounted price I could use it, prove to...

Wings On The Weber Crafted Rotisserie Basket

I would clean it like I clean my grill grates. With fire. Lol. It would stay pretty well seasoned.

    18 Jumbo Joe vs Go-Anywhere

The JJ is definitely easier to cook on since it's just a smaller kettle so two zones is normal and you don't have to change how you normally cook. The GA is definitely more portable but real estate is an issue and it's really just for straight up hot and fast grilling so it's less versatile...
