I will just leave this here

That one is a true survivor. Ones of that vintage are getting pretty hard to find still intact.

Weber #99243 tank scale about to become NLA

I don't think that includes Lowes or Home Depot and places like Fleet and Farm, but it still should help Ace get more Weber/Blackstone business. My Ace here in little Brazil, IN just moved across the street to a much larger location and now has a pretty impressive display of Webers as well as...

    My Genesis 1000 project

Welcome to TVWBB Steve! "Matte" and "flat" are pretty much interchangeable terms as far as I know. So, did you do the end caps in a semi-gloss black?

Pit Boss Phoenix Kettle: Why isn't Weber making one?

Updated Reflections on the Pit Boss Phoenix pellet kettle I have been cooking here and there with my Pit Boxx Phoenix. Tonight I tried some of the slider burgers from Sams that I like so much: Sorry, I failed to get a picture while still on the grill. These were done like the pork chops I...

Please help me identify this Weber

I can certainly see going that way, but I would rather have that big Summit and do what is needed to buy it more years of grilling. https://tvwbb.com/docs/1998-weber-summit-4pagead.pdf

Please help me identify this Weber

Not to be pushing sales of my stainless panels, but I would recommend seriously considering them if you get this grill. I have ones for the front with the holes and plain pieces for the back, which, as the above picture shows and @John-NY stated, is not exempt from rust and burn through.

    Vieluxe Brochures for sale

Thsnks, Jay. Seeing the frames back together as spreads gives a whole new perspective to this advertising piece. It is a nice motivator to keep forging ahead on my challenging Vieluxe project.

Safety First - Just bought a respirator and painters socks to continue my grill work.

I have a similar full face mask respirator and have no problems with it fogging unlike in my less wise days where I used a paper mask and separate eye protection

NEEDED! old school GEN 1000 swing table Support Rod

I did not thin. I used three coats, lightly sanding after coats 2 and 3. I was happy with the results.

    Genesis XXI (Jr) Restoration

Sorry my reply got “stuck!” The XX grill I made from parts had the collector box. I didn’t know anything different, and it fit and worked fine. My all original XXI, however, does have the type you guys have been showing with no collector box.

    Vieluxe Brochures for sale

I had my local printer do a small run if reprints of the Vieluxe brochure. They aren’t as razor sharp as the original looked, but they look very nice to me. Sure, you can just browse the digital version, but it looks so much better with the spreads restored. Plus, there is still something nice...
