Wow. I like it. Bandwidth seems small but for the price…..

    Smashburger Size?

Yep they do. However, I have a Weber sharp edge spatula and I can flip them easily. Also remember to refrigerate the meat balls before cooking. That allows you to smash them without loosing all the juice.

    Smashburger Size?

Agreed. I would serve a lager. Lagunitas Brewery is a mile down the street! I get PILS. While not a giant hops fan, their IPA is good too.

    Fajitas are another choice.

Pork Butt - should I cut it.

Most likely the E6 but I also have a Smokin-it model 3 electric that does wonders with pork. I just need to decide.

    Fridge getting old.......REALLY old

Today is the day! Hope it all goes well Larry. Please let me know what you ended up doing to get it in the house so I can get mine in Friday.

Pork Butt - should I cut it.

Thank you all for the help! It’s appreciated. You were correct Timothy, it’s in 2 pieces. 15.5 lbs total. Going to my daughter’s picnic on Sunday to feed ~20. Going to cook as 2 pieces, rubbed with SPOGP, smoke at 275 with red oak wood chunks (Sharpe wood) in the WSK or Smokin-it #3 electric...

Dual Weber crafted griddles on Genesis 400 series?

I have the Genesis 335 and got the full size griddle. Can swap it out for grates. I can use it on high without issue. Not sure what you plan to do with 2 griddles, but I am really happy with it. Best part is, I can swap it out for the grates.

    Smashburger Size?

No cheese? We do a 2 ounce beef ball and a 2 ounce pork ball with grated cheddar and pepperjack in the middle. Buns are always toasted.

    Fridge getting old.......REALLY old

Looks like I have to remove the front door to make it fit through so I’ll need to get that done as well. Oh, here is the one I got. I have had the 2 drawer freezer on the current LG and opted to go with a single drawer. Not a feature I’d want to repeat. LG 26 cu. ft. Smart Counter-Depth MAX...

Pork Butt - should I cut it.

Good question. I usually get my shoulders from Buds Custom Meats in Rohnert Park. Their meats are excelle. Daughter got the butt from COSTCO. Whether or not it’s in 2 pieces, I will still smoke in 2 pieces in the interest of bark and time followed by 4 hour chest rest. Plan is to cook at 275...

Pork Butt - should I cut it.

Need some advice, have a COSTCO 15 point butt to smoke on Saturday for my daughter. Will be eaten Sunday. The question is - should I cut it in half a cook 2 each 7.5 pounders, or cook it whole. I am leaning on halving to save time. Thoughts?

    Fridge getting old.......REALLY old

Remember to shut off the water to the fridge and let the ice maker drop its last cubes. Saves mopping….. Let me know how it goes, my DOD date is midday Friday.

    Fridge getting old.......REALLY old

Looks good. After our shopping and pricing, Lowe’s, Home Depot, and a couple of local appliance stores couldn’t match the COSTCO offering. We could have had it installed next Wednesday, but schedule conflicts moved it to Friday. I plan to pick up some dry ice from a local gas company to put...

    Fridge getting old.......REALLY old

Just bit the wallet for an LG 26’ counter depth fridge from COSTCO. No dual icemaker. They will install next Friday. Very similar to our current LG but with a single freezer drawer, not the 2 we have now. Never was a fan of the 2 drawer freezer. Overall, the current LG fridge has been good for...

How long does your WSM run on a single load of fuel?

I’ve gotten 12 hours on a full load in my 22 WSM. If I need to add fuel, I use Chris’ pour method using a piece of cardboard. Adding fuel

    ATK take on Charcoal

To be honest, I’m not 100% sure I can tell the difference. I use JD lump for grilling and Brix for LAS. No one has ever said - you would use lump for LAS. As to the smoke at startup, KP does smoke a lot but once above a couple of hundred degrees, it stops. Not a show stopper for me unless the...
