Fighting My Instinct: No Burn Off?

The are a few reasons I burn off after a cook. If I'm doing a deep clean, it is a head start. If going to use the rotisserie or switch grates, I burn off, so there aren't dirty grates lying around. Otherwise, I leave the grates dirty, save the gas, and can get the cover on right after we're done...

New Old Stock 1974 26" Red Weber....

Nice. It would be interesting to have it and a new kettle compared objectively, metal gauge and grade, enamel thickness and hardness, etc.

Sorry, it was how I saw propane stoves installed across the third world.

Meat Loaf Surprise Inspired by Bob Correll and John SP

That looks awesome. I wish I could find jalapenos around here that were milder, like my family in Texas buys at HEB.

    Picked up a Summit 650

Ospho rust treatment is what used to treat rust on steel salt water yachts. I would think it would work fine, then paint over it with high temp paint.

    Spirit or Genesis

I posted most of this last month: I recently took back a Spirit 310 and got a Genesis ep330. The Spirit had a hot spot along the entire back wall due to the integrated burner design, which the Genesis doesn't have. The Genesis heats up more quickly and will hit the 700s; the Spirit would...

    Clearance: Weber gourmet

My local Lowes has the stainless steel gourmet grates for the 300 Genesis series on clearance for $32. The gourmet inserts are on clearance too, though I don't recall the prices.

    New Weber EP-330 Smoke Owner!

If you're binge shopping for it don't forget a rotisserie. I have the onegrill cordless model and am happy with it. Also, grillgrates turn it into a giant flat top, and give you a great char or grill marks. I bought the 19.5" length and had to trim about 1/4" off of them so the lid would...

    New Weber EP-330 Smoke Owner!

The medium fits my grill perfectly. I wouldn't really call it snug, but there isn't excess fabric lying or flapping around.

    New Weber EP-330 Smoke Owner!

You'll love the grill; I have the same model and color. You can get a Classic Accessories Ravenna medium grill cover off of Amazon that is heavy duty and vented. There is a way to buy from Amazon through this site but I don't know how link it.

    3-burner Genesis e310 as a "built-in"

If you leave the casters off, it can be set on stone or brick. There aren't any "legs" protruding below the level of the cabinet.
