Pulled Pork on my Mini WSM

That sandwich looks amazing! I've only cooked 2 or 3 shoulders but I've never flipped them. Hopefully someone else with more experience will answer that. Great cook thanks for the pictures

I finally got one! WRK that is.

I really wanted to find a 26.75 but nobody wants to give those up. I told myself no more grills until the move is over except if I find a good deal on a 26 or a Ranch. I dont know if they make a roti ring for the Ranch but if they do; I sure want one. Moving is never fun! And to top it off, we...

I finally got one! WRK that is.

Thanks everyone. I was busy all weekend and only had a little bit of time to dedicate to the Ranch Kettle. I did start a fire, to heat up the grate, brush it real good and the oil it up. While I had heat I figured I should cook something. My daughter wanted hotdogs so I threw a couple dogs on...

Which one to get rid of?

I'm pretty sure I would get rid of the Q grill. RedHead is just plain classic. Genesis would be the go to grill which would leave the Q - besides it would be the easiest to replace if you ever come across more space.

I finally got one! WRK that is.

I've been watching craigslist for what seems like forever. Then Wednesday morning the Crown Jewel showed up, but the CL ad said it was posted 5 days ago. I didn't want to get my hopes up, but at the same time I didn't want to miss out! So, I took my chances and sent off an email asking if it...

congrats! I've been watching CL like a hawk and nothing has come up. When I finish moving I'm going to pull the trigger on a new one. Should be right around Thanksgiving, I'm thinking turkey will be my first cook as well. Enjoy your new 26er.

My First Cooked Food Post ( Pic Heavy )

Do you guys use your gas ignition in your Performer?

If lighter fluid works for you then by all means use it. I personally don't want to buy/use it. I usually start my coals in a chimney with about 3 minutes of flame from the gas assist, wait about 10 minutes then dump the coals into the baskets. After I shut off the gas, I go back in the house...

    Simple chicken and green beans

Great looking cook. I'm guessing the Vortex is a new favorite for you. Do you like it that much more than just the baskets? I've been on the fence about it.
