    Haha, yes it was Chuck! There was too much juicy goodness on my hands and face to come back and type anything! It was a bird from Aldi, and was probably the best one I've ever done. It's amazing how good food can actually turn out when you take it off at the right temp. Haha

    Just used my Vortex for the first time and loved it. Yours look great too! What do you think of the sweet baby Ray's buffalo sauce? I've used the Franks buffalo sauce and really like it.

    Yeah, what Robert said. I have the 22" performer, so I got the small Vortex. The grate is pretty much right on top of it. I had been going back and forth between the small and medium, but after using the small with the 22" I'm happy with how well it worked. I could envision really loading it up...

    Had some leftover pulled pork in freezer from some butts I smoked for Super Bowl. I've always loved and have wanted to try making tamales, but a bbq sauce version. I woman I work with gave me her way of making the masa which includes pre-made masa dough, and just jazzing it up with chicken...
