    Rotisserie on Spirit e210/e220

If what you are cooking is not too large, maybe you can have it close to the motor side and have the burner underneath tuned off? I have the three burner east/west model and a rotisserie would work great but I hate cleaning up and the rotisserie would be another utensil to wash. I find indirect...

Found the Grill of my dreams

and I thought you were going to put a 22.5 kettle or even a 26 incher in there. The remark "look at the quality" said "kidding" all over it.

Best covers for Weber Spirit e310

I dunno about machine washing and frankly I wouldn't bother. Mine is 3 years old and almost white from fading. It has a couple of cracks but still keeps out the rain/snow/volcanic ash (well maybe not the ash). It looks well used and keeps my *09 Spirit clean and dry. Plus, because it looks...

new gasser needed... help me out here

I have the 2009 model of Spirit e310 and I cook for 4 adults (apparently, my kids are never going to move out!!!!!). I find I have plenty of room, but if I need more, I have my 22.5 OTG (which I use far more than my Spirit, truth be told). A Genesis is a better unit (and alot more money) but if...

    Kettles and Mavericks

This is just a thought, as I don't have a Maverick, but I have one of those utensil hangers that hang off the kettle. I noticed that the lid doesn't sit perfectly flat over the kettle and is raised a wee bit from the clips(doesn't seem to cause any issues with temp control). If a person was to...

How Do You Clean Your WSM and/or Gasser?

It's kind of funny, but I deep cleaned my gasser last fall with the intention of finally grilling a few times during winter. However, it sits on my deck and in the direct line of fire from my snow blower so I never even got to it. I did use my 22.5 OTG (that gets a very cursory cleaning at the...

I finally broke down, forgive me for I have sinned..sort of..well maybe?

Brisket is a rarity in these parts (Eastern Ontario) as most people have no idea as to what to do with it. They see this huge big flat thing with big gobs of fat and tough as nails. We sometimes bring it in (on special order or if it's advertised) and it is the full brisket with the point...

I finally broke down, forgive me for I have sinned..sort of..well maybe?

Thanks Gary, however, if I bought any more BBQs/grills/smokers (after buying the Spirit, OTG and other assorted "stuff" in a little over two summers) for the next little while, you would be reading about the enraged homicidal wife BBQing her husband in the national newspaper. Maybe next...

I finally broke down, forgive me for I have sinned..sort of..well maybe?

I finally got my 22.5 free from the 6 month icy grip and cooked up some beef tenderloin steaks yesterday (I'm a meat-cutter and I can only afford the "cast-aways" that normally get re-purposed elsewhere). I missed the smokey flavour all winter and am looking forward to better weather so I can...

    Never Ending Quest

I normally cook with the lid down, however, I have cooked with the lid up. It isn't as fast and hot that way, but it gets hot enough that I couldn't possibly hold my hand close to the grate for very long. I have a 2009 Spirit 310 with the east/west burners, as opposed to your north/south array...

    performer charcoal baskets

I've used them for a few cooks, but still not convinced of the value of them. I had previously bought the rails and found them a little more useful as I can move them closer to the center and bank the coals onto the side. Then I read somewhere (probably here) about fire bricks and have never...

Awesome charcoal chimney for Minion Method

I just cut out the top and bottom of a liter size apple juice can, put it over a lit starter cube and put in a half dozen or so briquettes. After a few minutes, pick the lit briquettes up with the tongs and strategically place them where needed. Works good and I'm cheap.

    Just got a used Spirit!

I have a 2009 model that I bought brand new in 2012 (must have been in the HD warehouse for 3 years?). It seems to be pretty well built and after two winters still looks new. I am used to the east/west burner configuration and after trying my son's 2013 model Spirit 310, I still kinda like mine...

Consumer Reports - Spirit rated better than Genesis _ Any Opinions

Oh, I'd say the Spirit is far better than a Genesis:p, but then again I'm biased. Actually most people would say spring for the Genesis. However, after buying an OTG my Spirit is designated to the odd back-up duty. I think either one would last you a long time, buy whatever tickles your fancy.

Weber 22.5 OTG, Cajun Bandit BBQ Stacker and air control

What would happen if you close the bottom vent to 1/8 open, then fine tune using the top vent?

I've been on the look out for a 3 wheeler....

If you get a complete leg kit, may as well change all three as they aren't in correctly anyway. Amazing how many people put the legs in the wrong holes.

New Genesis E -310 Needs Cover, Recommendations, Please

The Veranda covers from Amazon, among other places, work great. Much heavier than the Weber covers and seem to last, at least mine has so far.
