    Ribs on my Summit

Thx! That's called the "rib-o-lator". It worked well. I had to be sure the ribs fit in there. I needed to do some doctoring, but in the end, everything stayed on there, and it was super easy.

    Ribs on my Summit

Thx. 4 hours at 250-275. They were the easiest ribs that I've made. Don't get me wrong, smoking on my Performer was good, just more challenging with the burning, keeping the temp up, etc.

    Ribs on my Summit

Ribs on my Weber Summit. I've done it on my Performer a few times. Fwiw my guests told me the Ribs were great. I thought so too. And it was so much easier using the rotisserie. The IR burner helped at the end. Also used the built in smoke box fora decent smoke. Not as deep of a smoke ring as on...

Smokey, char-grilled flavor. Why is it missing from my burgers?

It's fast. Literally 30 seconds each side. I used thin turkey bacon too. Yeah that's how I justify eating burgers.

Smokey, char-grilled flavor. Why is it missing from my burgers?

I'm a fan of grilling bacon for the burgers. Plus right before putting the burger on, I put on a chunk of hickory or mesquite. Toasting the buns is a must too.

Cedar plank salmon over indirect heat on my new weber. Missed the pic of the plate. Had rice and salad with it. Tried to eat good before the weekend.

    Burger Sunday

Not the greatest pic, but when I look at it, I want another. Simple burger cooked on my Weber Perforner w Stubbs charcoal. I put some onion crisps on the top and turkey bacon on the bottom. And for the record, the peas were not my idea. We were out of baked beans.

Dr pepper chicken on Weber Performer

I used weber kickin chicken. Didn't seem like the soda did anything. It took 2 hours at 350 ish. And most if the soda was still in the can.

    First attempt at stl spares

I've got a lotta gunk on the rib side. I should have put something there to catch it. I also used a rib rack for most of the time. Then at the end, I took them out of the rack. As for spraying, some say use apple juice, other say no. I opted with the "no".
