Is it ok to be addicted?

I tell the wife that it is better than illegal substances. But She never complains when the food comes off the grill I actually bought a Jumbo Joe in Fl at a rummage sale. I then had to buy a suitcase at the same sale to bring it up to NJ. (total cost $) The funny part was the airlines did...

Why was the SJP (Jumbo Joe) discontinued?

I am not sure. Maybe it was stealing sales from both the other 18 and 14" inch grills they were selling. However, I do have one I found at a bazaar in Fl, I really like the the extra space of a 18" grill compared to a 14" grill. The Jumbo Joe is way bigger then the SJP or SGJ, the...

Performer Ingition Starter Parts - Total Cost

This is a good grill. I bought a green SS one a few years ago and it has become my favorite grill. It does look the big wheels are on the wrong end. They should be on the opposite ends of the handles.

= yummy ! For celebrating my 50th year on this planet earth, I wanted rib eye's and corn on the cob. I wanted to go to Peter's Luger's in NYC, but I am too poor to treat everybody, so instead I had everybody over last Sunday for a cook-out. (oops, almost said BBQ!) The Cast - Wife -...

    Smokey Joe Platinum?

It looks like my Jumbo Joe. It appears to have the side vents and no bottom vents. There has been talk on this board that w/o the bottom vents high heat is not obtainable. However, you can mod it and put a bottom vent n it. If I had to do it again I would get a 18" OTG instead of the 22.5...

All turned out well- While camping this weekend, cooked a high heat pork butt from Kevin's recipe on my Jumbo Joe for smoke day. Turned out real good, and the JJ held the temps quite nicely the whole day. (I think I was channeling all the good BBQ energy flowing through the world!). Had...

    London Broil on the Q320

Ken - I am unable to see your pictures since I do not have a account on facebook. However, I am terrible on judging when steaks are done. I now use a thermometer with a probe and a wire. I never overcook my steaks this way. I so love my Q and have cooked london broil on it a few times.
