8 Butts at Once And a Gator!

That grilled gator looks so good. My wife would fall down and die if I tried bringing that home and cooking it though.

Any silver and/or gold collectors out there?

History is very interesting to me now-a-days, but not as much when I was younger. I also think it would be so cool to find a coin dated 1856. I had most of my collection out on the floor last night looking at what all I had, wife walked into the room and said, "wow, you are a total nerd right...

Any silver and/or gold collectors out there?

I've thought about getting a metal detector. I have a creek that runs through my backyard and I imagine that there must be some coins and maybe jewelry back there from way back when people would swim or fish in the creek. My uncle also owns a house that was built in 1890, so probably quite a...

Any silver and/or gold collectors out there?

Uncirculated Morgan is pretty amazing. Those other older coins you had must have been worth quite a bit. Anything from the 1800s that's in that good of condition is incredible....must be valuable.

Any silver and/or gold collectors out there?

Totally not bored! This is very interesting to me! Wow, you must have a huge safe or crate to keep your coins in. That's impressive to have all of those proof sets. My collection is no where close to yours although I suspect my grandfather's collection is rather large. He was a big silver coin...

8 Butts at Once And a Gator!

Wow, 8 pork butts at once. That is a big graduation party! Where's my invite?! I can't offer advice on if they will fit, but "where there is a will, there is a way"....and like Jeff mentioned, try using some butcher's twine to tie them up tight to save some real estate. Please post pictures.

When you sold your coin collection, you didn't sell it to a pawn shop, did you?

Any silver and/or gold collectors out there?

I didn't mean "guys" as in males only. Sorry about that. Do you actively buy more? Or are you just hanging on to the stuff you already have? I've searched around and it seems that a lot of online "mints" and bullion sellers mark up the silver rounds about 15-20% or more based on the spot...

Any silver and/or gold collectors out there?

I looked up a few of the old silver dollars and they are worth quite a bit. I don't need the money so I'm going to hang on to them. I'm sure when my kids are my age they will be worth even more.

Any silver and/or gold collectors out there?

Recently knocked the dust off my coin collection I had as a kid. Luckily my grandpa got me into collecting some silver dollars and older coins with actual silver in them. Not a huge collection, but brings back some good memories with him. Been reading up last few weeks on silver bullion. Any...

If you have the budget, this place can put a new color on your kettle....Think it's expensive. And probably not worth it on a kettle. Likely cheaper to just buy a new bowl and lid from Weber. https://www.facebook.com/IndependencePorcelain/

You aren't going to be able to paint that grill. At least not color-matched and have it look new-ish again. The "paint" is baked on enamel. Best you can do it just find some red colored BBQ high temp paint and touch up the rust areas. Another alternative is to just keep the rusted areas oiled...

    Sometimes it's your turn...

I'm pretty sure that cooking grate is stainless steel. If it is, then I'd take an angle grinder with cup brush to clean it up really well. Charcoal grate I do not think is SS. I'd just keep it oiled up when not in use. Not sure I'd even bother cleaning it besides hitting it with a regular...

    ThermoWorks 18% Off Sitewide

Ah, I bet you are right! That explains why they were having so many sales on the MK4 models that past few months. Clearing out inventory for this new model. Looks cool, like that the display swaps between portrait and landscape depending on how you are holding it. Still, I don't think I'll be...

    Question about Performer grill

I always open the screw (purge valve) and just wait for it to blow out thick white propane gas....then I know it's full. Opening that screw also helps to force out any air trapped inside the tank.
