I was not tring to be a jerk, I just thought that lobster takes short time to cook , and will soak up that smoke, you might waste what looks to me like alot of money. sorry.thats why i dont say much.always seem to stick my foot in mouth.

Can any one suggest the best way to do temp. would I need to know the temp. in the cooker ? or should I get a wireless meat therm.? I have a oven thermometer on the cooking rack, and I can keep the temps pretty good. are theese wireless thermometers a waste of money ?? any Ideas ...

maybe I just got some one in a bad mood that day. my vents are not put on with nuts and bolts. I have wire and foil around them and on them to make them tighter. seems to work well. like I said , I love the cooker, just wanted it to be in like new shape , not need modifications on a simple vent...
