Yup I use that on my wings, also let it dry in the fridge over night helps

I'd put it in the oven, heat it upp to 200 ish and eat it like nothing happend

Yes there is pop in it. Last year we gave it to friends and one said it was very good for his cold (guess it cleared out his nose) :) It is a very popular homegrown give away in small jars
