Rust-o-leum is what the HD had, but from experience I would have preferred Krylon. results were still very good

Hi Jim, that's what I used on mine, flat finish on the firebox, gloss on the frame and hood ends. Im VERY satisfied with the results!

i used Rustoleum high heat on mine. Gloss black on the hood ends and frame, flat on the firebox. i have been pleased with the results.

Hook it up and get some soapy water on those cuts and watch for bubbles to be sure, but i would bet your ok.

Not neccessary Fred. the inside just needs wiping down from time to time as it gets a bit coated with grease and carbon from cooks.
