    This has become one of my go to cooks for the family as of late. Full load of Kingsford Pro, dial the vents down to about 25% after adding the coals to the vortex, foil around the vortex before adding coal. Check and rotate lid every six minutes or so. Not sure on the voodoo of smoke direction...
