    Quarentine Time Movies

I've watched the Battlestar Galactica movies and I'm now watching the series.

    Radio controlled cars.

Interesting thread :) No help to the original question, but since I've been stuck in the house I'm working on a complete overhaul of my Losi LST

    Bed in a box

When I bought my latex mattress 10 years ago, I was told in the store, "You sleep in foam and on latex." I prefer the latex for more back support.

How cold is too cold for a gasser?

When the temps here in northern Wisconsin are well below zero I often enjoy filling the neighborhood with smells from the (natural gas) grill. I also giggle at the looks I've gotten over the fence from people living around me. Short version - it's never too cold ;)

Blackstone griddle, or Camp Chef Expedition 3x?

Hi Rich. Have you sen the bulk tank adapter hose for the Blackstones? Not practical for walk-in camping obviously, but otherwise nice to use the griddle hooked to the big bottle.

    Handling robocalls using iPhone feature

Just upgraded my employer's phone (6S) from 12.4.1 to 13.1.2 and there it is :) . Too bad I can't use that feature on the work phone. Now I wait for my regional carrier to push the upgrade to my personal phone.

    Handling robocalls using iPhone feature

Interesting. What version iOS are you running Chris? I have 12.4.1 on an iPhone 7Plus and I don't see that menu item.

Kielbasa sammich with a little bit of everything

Thawed a pack of smoked kielbasa, from my favorite meat shop in Weston WI. Tossed them on the little Blackstone: Finished together with fresh local cole slaw drizzled with Sriracha, and slathered the roll with Merkts horseradish cheese spread(recommended by our local TV grilling show "Mad Dog...

    A new favorite condiment

Not really my favorite condiment but I just found this at the local market. Being that I like all the uber-hot sauces like ghost pepper and similar, this surprised me how hot it is.

Soon to be... (fresh steak picture)

I've been in and out a few times recently, not here as much as I'd like. Between moving and work I haven't had much cook time. :(

Soon to be... (fresh steak picture)

More or less, yes. I raise the meat off the griddle to stop the searing and not burn the surface to a crisp while it raises the internal temp to my finish point. I do the same with the griddle on my Genesis with only the hood closed- just the rack, no dome cover. This Blackstone doesn't have the...

Soon to be... (fresh steak picture)

Hi Bill. These pics aren't of the steaks above, but I'll cook the same way. I'm using the Blackstone as I still haven't gotten the gas line run to the Genesis since I moved. Sear - flip - sear, then rack and cover to finish temp.
