Welcome Ed! HB is the perfect place to perfect your WSM skills; great weather all year round:D I grew up near there... I will surely miss that weather for the next SEVEN months:eek:
Welcome Todd! I have a few friends that don't " eat food that formally had a face", and they love the smoked veggies that come my WSM. Oddly enough, they also really like the smell of BBQ too;)
I can cook a full rack of bb's AND ten ABT's for the three of us using a 1/4 of the amount of fuel my WSM uses. And I can put the whole thing on the back of a bicycle, go to a local park with the family, and do that smoke there. That's what sold me on making one.
Anyone can do a meatloaf, but if you're looking for a unique meatloaf, the Turducken Loaf might be just what you're looking for:cool:.

1.5 cups of bread crumbs
1 cup of cooked wild rice
3/4 cup of white onion
1/2 cup of minced...

"Yeah, wasn't November 2000 a great time to be a Chad? Hanging, pregnant, dimpled, dangling. I never thought I'd hear the end of it."
Yep, heard some of that four years ago again, probably hear more of it in a few short weeks:(
Looking Good! Smoking tri-tip is a nice way to spend the afternoon:wsm:. I hate to be the one to tell you though, you misspelled Vikings, and the color should be purple, not blue:p. Other than that, wonderful job on the pot and the tri-tip:D
I'm not sure there are any rules for how the contestants vote, at least I haven't seen anything specifically mentioned. Everyone gets one and only one vote though...so make it count:wsm:
I do like my Turducken... but your lamb burgers look really good too! I'll probobly make all of the entries...
How did that work out for you? I would think that would be good enough, especially since the temp is probably higher than the minimum 200 recommended for the curing.
