I know what you mean about those lids with that crap on the inside. I don't discard a lid because of that, but it is very annoying to have a perfect looking lid on the outside only to scrape away the carbon coating on the inside and find that. So, are you keeping that 1000?

Most likely it is not the manifold. It is more likely the regulator/hose or the fact that you have tripped the safety valve. When opening the tank, you need to open it very slowly at first and then you can faster after it is open about 1/4 turn or so. You need to follow the reset...

I promised and here you go. I started my next rehab this morning and took the opportunity to show how I removed the axle nuts. They both came off in good shape and I am sure they will go back on with out any problem and hold tight.

Yes Josh. The Qulimental ones that Cody posted. I just checked and the Qulimetal ones have a slightly longer middle burner tube which is key. It is 1/16" plus longer which should be enough to ensure the middle burner stays on the valve.

I got my burners and bars today. After a quick look, they look and feel like 16 ga bars and both them and the burners are non-magnetic. I didn't look much at the burners, but they look similar to the Votenli ones but with a bit better attention to detail. I will report back when I investigate...
