    I'm a traitor.....

That's interesting. This BS is decent build quality but I'm sure Weber would be much better. But I'd say the price would be considerably higher. Thanks for posting the link to the Aussie Weber griddle...

    I'm a traitor.....

I picked up a discounted 36" Blackstone Griddle last night to go along with my DIY gasser griddles and my MoJoe Griddle. When is Weber going to come out with a griddle? The BS, build wise, reminds me a lot of how Weber would do something. "Sorry, Weber....." I hope the rest of the Weber gang...

Best Probe Wire Solution? Cut Notch or Drill Port in 22" WSM?

From all the posts, I thought. "It'll never work." After clicking on the link, it looks promising. I may hold off upgrading my igrill....now if it would just tie in to the IQ!

Day 1 of pork fest 2015

That all looks great but you forgot to put pork in the cheddar biscuits! :)

Best Probe Wire Solution? Cut Notch or Drill Port in 22" WSM?

If the front door is 6 o'clock, about where are you cutting the slot? I need one badly. Wrestling with 3 probes through those factory holes is a pain. And then the hassle of the wires and about causing catastrophe trying to move meat, igrill or top grate.

2nd Mojoe Griddle Cook - Mollejas

I love me some MoJoe cooks! Always keep a bottle of water nearby to throw on for showing off. I'm not sure what that is, honestly, but it sure looks good.

Can't even cook for flare ups!

I do that on my charcoal weber. When you have flames, I close the top vent...a few seconds later smoke increases. On the gasser, it let's in too much oxygen and it just keeps getting bigger until the burgers are moved. That's why I like my avatar ;)

Can't even cook for flare ups!

Haha, I was on my phone trying to type. I think it's the contrast between store bought burger and knowing where/how your beef is made. I'm sure it's fat content. I litterally just cleaned the grill. By the way I eat them, they certainly didn't seem to taste bad ;) My thread subject seems...

Can't even cook for flare ups!

I always read on here and other sites (do they exist?) about flare ups on the grill. I always thought I must be a master grilling chef because I really never have flare ups. We'll, I do, but not enough to bring it up on the forums. I stand corrected and I've been spoiled. We buy a beef...

Fuel baskets, charcoal rails or just a couple of bricks?

I really like my baskets and have stopped using my bricks as much. Bricks are dirt cheap, might try both.

First Time Smoke with 22.5 WSM - Ribs

Nice looking trio of cookers! Those ribs look very nice, I need to smoke some more of them. For the life of me, I can't find my ambient temp probe. So, I've just been balling up a wad of aluminun foil and sticking the probe through it. I don't think the aluminum dissapates the heat on the...

Nice morning to cook outside: MoJoe Griddle breakfast

It's a very nice morning to cook outside and eat outside, too. So, I broke out the DIY MoJoe Griddle. The kids named this "sunshine skillet." Nothing too exciting: Frozen taters (I know, I know) Mix up some eggs like your are going to scramble them Fresh onion S&P Lots of cheese Whole pack...

Pizza Kettle trial & error, maybe a victory!

If my dough is dry it slides on to the stone easily. If I make it right and it's soft, I tear the pizza up trying to get it on the stone. I've never tried corn meal and flour doesn't seem to help much. I'd love to figure it out because I love homemade pizza! Edit: I tried the corn meal, it...
