The frame is making me worry. I could pick it up, dissemble and then have the frame welded professionally. Once thats done, I’m cool with the rest. Am I missing an obvious hack to the frame?

Agree with Tim. How does the wood closest to the kettle generally hold up? Im always concerned it will burn and it seems to keep me from taking the plunge on building one.

We are very lucky. We have mangos. Neighbors have avocado & papaya. And, we know a guy who gets jackfruit. Head down to some of the farms in Homestead and I can probably source it all in one shot for a reasonable price.

In the board I trust.. My Weber Genesis Silver C w/ side burner will not ignte. Nothing lit. Swapped tanks with no luck. On one occasion it lit, but quickly flamed out. I think it’s the regulator and hose. Any suggestions before I replace the regulator and hose?
