I'm thinking on building a wishing well.

A few questions for the group. First one of the pics. I think I can scale dimensions from the pic given we know the kettle is 22" A few things I see but would like your opinion on. The cutouts on the bottom are obviously for fresh air intake. We know it was designed around 1966 so it should...

Coal grate looks original, so I mean they last a long time as long as they hold charcoal.

    Weber kettle restoration

I wouldnt paint ( but that's just me ) I would hit the rusty spots with a scotch brite pad and oil . The wheel looks in great shape. It still has all of the whitewall and the black push nut. How's the ash sweeper, all three fins working?

    Detroit pan pizza

Looks like it's anodized or non stick? I had several of the pans years ago but they were carbon steel and would rust up pretty quick. First time I tried Detroit style was 10 years ago. I was doing a high rise kiddy corner to the Original Hooters downtown and a Jetts was next door. ' Solid pie...

My Wife's in charge of the CB&C. It's her birthday and she does it the way her grandfather and dad taught her.. She uses one of those Nesco roasters. We usually do 3-4 flats and points. Sets them on the rack and adds water to just below it. Steams till fork tender 3-4hrs. Makes a glaze with...

    She's 4 Today

Perfect day for her to be outside. We had the little one today, had a blast outside, and he scraped his knee on the concrete, and not even a whimper. I told him chicks dig scars lol.

    Chicken Quesadillas

I've never tried folding them like a taco. Put one shell on top and bottom with the fillings. Flip when brown. I used to have a quesadilla maker which browned both sides like a panini press. I'm gonna try the fold on the griddle tho.

SOLD: BESWOOD 10" Premium Chromium-plated Steel Blade Electric Deli Meat Cheese Food Slicer

That works for lean stuff like deli meats, but fatty cuts like back or side bacon or when I do old timers bacon leaves a trail of grease between the blade and blade guard. I attribute it to friction caused by heat which gums up the works. You can try the book method but IMO the only way to get...
