Ha ha , I like that , Bob. we always had similar complaints at my job. In the summer , the protective equipment makes you swelter. In the winter , you can't put on enough stuff to keep you warm.

I have a similar rig for my wsm and I made my own meat hooks. I made mine from an old stainless steel dish strainer that I found. Took an angle grinder and cut some nice long pieces and just bent each end into a hook. Ground a bit of a point on one end to pierce the meat easier. Started with 8"...

when i was young and worked construction we traveled from maine to connecticut and we always ate at diners...and if there was a hot open faced RB sandwich on the menu , I would get it. still one of my favorite meals and that one right there looks heavenly.

i have a similar (homemade) rig for my WSM. I like the ease of cooking and cleanup...no racks to soak. and dont feel bad about skipping the after pix....been there , done that. Got the T-shirt.
