Thanks Kevin, One side benefit for me is; I bought a cheap wireless from WalMart... so now I will have a 3rd probe for IT on lower rack, if I ever use the lower rack I love the surface area on the 22.5 sooooo much.

I FINALLY got email notification from Amazon that my Maverick ET 73 shipped Fri July 31 and I will have it this Tuesday... Long wait, but I think it will be worth it.... Nobody else had it in stock either....

If I have my gasser uncovered; I frequently use the side gas burner to start mine... I just set the chimney over the lit burner on high for a minute or two and the coals catch.. then i turn off the burner, move the chimney to the gasser's grate.... gotta use the gasser for something LOL

Dan, I still see it advertised in several places; including Amazon... I would be surprised if Weber eliminated it. They have already covered the development costs... EZ Que has similar unit made out of stainless steel for $289

I think Weber could easily make a version of the rotisserie to fit WSM 22.5; I'd get one
