Order WSM Smoke Day 14 T-Shirts

I just remembered I wanted a T-shirt so i just ordered the very manly sapphire color :) Hopefully it will arrive in time...If not i will still wear it for the next 15 years like every other t-shirt I buy and NEVER throw out..they just disintegrate an eventually disappear...(or wife throws them...

Pizza Kettle Pizza (and pineapple, hanging tenderloin, and cebollitas)

I was shopping around for pizza oven options (I have a stone BBQ i was looking to fashion something for) and then I saw the Kettle Pizza...I went all in and it's arriving today...Hopefully I can christen it sunday. I bought set that includes the stainless steel griddle deflector which can also...

How close can you get without copyright infringement?

I had the weber covers for my genesis and wsm...both cracked/crumbled in the first year. I switched to the beige Classic Accesories Veranda series covers for all my grills. They have a 2 year warranty against tears/rips...so just take a picture of any tiny rip just before the warranty is up and...

    Weber briquettes vs. Kingsford

Since there were no replies to this, I will throw you some thoughts...I have a WSM 18 that I use all the time. I can get a 10-12hr smoke out of one full started chimney and then 1 and 1/2 unlits briquettes (Kingsford or Weber). Put the lit ones on 1/2 of the ring and then the unlit on the other...

    It's Pizza Season!!!

This is why I am eternally jealous of the people who live where it doesn't snow...There is no financial incentive to build anything like this when you can only use it 1/2 the year in Ma.

    Suggestions for First Pork Shoulder

The only thing to watch out for with the WSM and precipitation is the lid design causes the water and snow to go into the smoker and down the sides because of the lip...So you might get water under your coals or steaming... Oh and I tried the Weber charcoal from Lowes (on sale big time) for a...

Temp For Actually Pulling Pulled Pork

I too use the gloved hands method to fish out the veins of fat that I don't want...I also like a thicker, less shredded pound or so for freezing for later or adding to bolognese...I know that I wait for it to get below 150F. I leave the remote probe in it and put it in the oven (off) to cool...

    Weber Charcoal - $12/bag at Lowe's

YES! I noticed right away that some bags might have a tear in them, but if the bag is still "smushed" and vacuum sealed looking then they are still water tight. I love that because I store my charcoal in a rubbermaid tool bin thingy...it's not water tight but keeps things dry..

'Twas The Night Before Brisket: A New Christmas Barbecue Classic *****

First Christmas I've done a Brisket...My sister was hosting and said "everyone bring something"...I volunteered a brisket and didn't let the weather stop me. I used the new Weber charcoal which was amazing..Long lasting and HOT... Came out heavenly

    Weber Charcoal - $12/bag at Lowe's

Oops. Thank goodness for the iGrill mini i saw my meat temperature hit 185F and then start dropping. The coals were smothering and going out because i closed the vents too much!

    Weber Charcoal - $12/bag at Lowe's

I am very impressed with this charcoal. I'm getting temperatures like I've never seen. Usually I have to open all three vents at the bottom of the Smoky Mountain and the vent at the top to get to the upper level of the smoke range especially in the winter time. I have two of three bottom...

    Mustard on Brisket?

For me, personally, I trim it up and go minimalist with a rub and then low and slow...If I were to put mustard on it it means that 100% of that 11lbs of meat are mustard...If you cook it without a mustard you can always make a mustard based dipping sauce one day...and a spicy bbq the next...and...

    Weber Charcoal - $12/bag at Lowe's

Just picked up 3 bags tonight I couldn't believe the price. It's my first time trying this charcoal. I usually use Kingsford. I'm going to do a brisket tonight so we'll see how this goes.

    Leftover brisket?

I think this is the way to go. This is what I do with all my leftovers...Portion them out before freezing that way you can take out only what you need...Killer chili, Tomato Sauce with brisket, Baked Brisket Mac and Cheese...brisket pizza..surf and turf paella with shrimp and brisket... In my...

Need Advice on Grill Cover and Rotisserie

I am not sure what grill you are looking for a cover for but the Veranda line available on Amazon is pretty good. I live in Ma. and we get cold winters...the Cover doesn't crack in cold weather the way the Weber one did... https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00JF2YWXK/tvwb-20 is the one I...

Genesis EP-330 lighting question... Issue with gas flow?

I'm thinking I'm just not waiting long enough after opening the tank valve before I turn on the burner....I would never leave the tank open...I cover the grill and if someone bumped a burner control knob and filled that grill cover with propane you're looking at a world of hurt when Nanny lights...

Genesis EP-330 lighting question... Issue with gas flow?

So I have an EP-330 and for at least 2 years now I have noticed that it NEVER lights on the first try if I close the gas valve after the last cooking... Process is this. 1. Open tank valve all the way (I have tried 3/4 open and different tanks) 2. Turn any burner on high 3. push ignition...

Lowes $100 off all Weber Genesis Grills while supplies last...

Hmm...It looks like Lowes, and Home Depot are both running $100 off sales but neither carry the EP-330 grills (the best genesis bang for your buck) they only offer the s-330 as the stainless option for a genesis..
