Guys I have changed my email to see if I am having a problem with multiple forums or just one. I had changed my email from my old one, due to excessive spam to one with the domain @bpdguns.com I think I am getting instant replies here but haven't had one in a while (you have to post to get...

Boston Beef is about tops around here. I was actually impressed with the meat selection and prices at Walmart off Rt 1. I live near the mall.

    2nd WSM - 18.5" or 14"?

My 14.5 can run about 8 hours without adding coal, but it is real easy to add , just take of the middle and top and set to one side add the coal and put back.

WSM mod in how it is used

I have bad knees so find that bending down to adjust the vents on the bottom of the WSM 22.5 is tough, especially in the back as I have a small wall on the patio. I looked at what I did with my 14.5 putting it on blocks on end and decided that putting the 22.5 on blocks laid flat would make it...

Using Coleman stove to light chimney for WSM 14.5

I used the stove to force start the KBB as I hate waiting 20 or 30 minutes, this way I can get it ashed over in 7-10 minutes

Using Coleman stove to light chimney for WSM 14.5

I was looking for a better way than paper to start my charcoal chimney for my Weber Smokey Mountains. I thought of my Coleman 425F stove that was all rusted out, but the tank was sound and it lights up. I put my chimney on the stove and viola coal in 10 minutes!

    Weber 330 vs Charbroil Saber

I have been trying to get the wife to let me get a 330. The problem is my 15 year old Silver B is still going super strong, may have to clean the grates soon. I also grill 3-5 times a week year round. This past winter we had 110 inches of snow in 45 days, the snow banks around my grill buried...

    Weber 330 vs Charbroil Saber

A friend of mine just bought a Saber infrared grill. I told him "but it is not a Weber" At the same time I have heard that the new Webers are as solidly made as the old one. His Saber weights 210 pounds. Has anyone had experience with Saber grills? Also how do the new Weber Genesis and...

    Brisket in basket question

I am going to try a new brisket recipe this weekend, it is designed for a grill but I was thinking about how to get smoke on it. The recipe calls for brouwn sugar, ketchup, cider vinegar, canola oil, dark corn syrup, mustard, horseradish and garlic clove stir cook 3-4 minutes and put in a...

Tough decision - keep 16 yr old Silver B or get E470 or S670

I mentioned that to the wife, she said no! She mentioned that it only takes about 5 minutes to switch over to roto, which is true. Also I have the CB rotisserie for my 22.5 kettle or WSM so if I need to good something while using the roto I could do it on the gasser with the roto on the kettle...

Rich that is not a bad idea, a grill for roto work!

Tough decision - keep 16 yr old Silver B or get E470 or S670

That is exactly what I did today with some stainless steel hardware and an old porcelain grate With all I can do with the Silver I don't know why I was thinking of another grill! With the money I am getting for my 25 year work anniversary I may look into that shelf system they have, not sure...
