    Kingsford Professional

I was at Costco today and they had Kingsford Professional Charcoal for $19.99 for 2 bags 18 plus lbs per bag. Last summer the same 2 bags of Kingsford Comp Charcoal was going for $15.49. Same Charcoal different price. Hopefully the price will come down to a reasonable amount. I like the Comp/Pro...

    My First Cold Smoked Cheese

You're going to love the smoked cheese Bruce. I normally smoke my cheese the same way except I only smoke for 2hrs and than vacuum pack the blocks and into the frig for a month. Try taking an apple, slice thin and put slices on your WSM for some nice grill marks. Cut a block of cheese thinly...

Here in So Cal it's going to be about 80* today, nothing but sunshine and blue skies. This makes for a great day for Wings & Ribs with Tater Salad & Beans. I think the game may end up being secondary. LOL. Good luck and good eats to all. Bill

    Cajun bandit

Hi Jim, the Cajun ring is all SS and made extremely well. The rotisserie motor is one of the best. The battery operated motor can handle a good load. You can use the Cajun ring on both a performer and then turn it over and use it on a WSM. I can't say anything about the Weber ring having never...

    Barkeeper's Friend on cooking grates

Go to Lowe's or HD and pickup a Hot Water Heater tub. You can get metal or plastic, I have plastic much easier to work with. Fill with hot water and add dish soap, soak grates for a couple hours and than hit them with a Scotch Brite Pad. Easy Peasey

Where do you get your meat?

Consistency is also a key factor and I believe Costco wins hands down. Unfortunately lately Costco's Rotisserie Chickens have taken a turn for the worst. I get home with a R C and find it needs to be cooked longer. Not good or healthy. Keep a look out for doneness. Bill
