    Best charcoal to use !

Best charcoal????Yikes, why no ask an easy question like the best colour, pickup truck or NFL team? Not sure if you'll find a "clear" winner. The Naked Whiz (as noted by someone previously in tis thread) has tons of charcoal reviews. Personally I've liked BGE, and Wicked Good for lump. Both...

    22.5" WSM ordered

Congrats - enjoy your new WSM. Lots of time for upgrades and mods like the CB door but it's a great cooker right out of the box.

    WSM as Grill Question

I'm good at home as shown in my signature. It's for camping where storage space in the RV get's limited. I always have our Q 120 for basic grilling, but for the longer trips if I take the WSM for a smoke or 2, was wondering if I could use it for the odd charcoal grill session....as opposed to...

    WSM as Grill Question

Tonight I did some mods to my WSM and had the middle out. I put the top on the bottom and it reminded me that some guys have used their WSMs as a grill. To me it looks like a tall Jumbo Joe. Anyways it seems possible with some minor tweaks but the lid did not fit snug on the base. Has anybody...

    WSM Mods Done

Welp.....it's so cold tonight here in southern Ontario (-24C with wind chill) so instead of cooking I did some mods. Of course these are not my ideas just using the ideas of others here so thanks to the community for sharing. I did the handle mod based on advice of others here. With a little...

    CL shopping advice needed please

I'd get the Performer. Personally I like the gas assist and the lid holder - some don't. But the table is great IMHO. Good luck.

    Wireless Thermometers for WSM

732 owner here, happy with it thus far other than clip to stand up receiver broke after a year - kind of flimsy. Did mod to get around that though - works great. When the 732 craps out - will definitely look at the Weber and any other offering on the market at that time.

    Spares for the 500

Nice looking cook. My darn town by-laws prohibit open fires or I'd have one going for every winter cook. Bad weather but looks like a great day regardless.

    performer charcoal baskets

Personally I like the bricks better. I have the baskets and use them for certain cooks - but most low and slow jobs get the bricks.

    Weber's New WSM Grommet

Thanks guys. I managed to get an actual Weber grommet and I'm just kicking around ideas on the best way to proceed. The notch looks supper easy - with my grinder and metal blade that would be done in less than 30 seconds.

    Found This Used....Help Please

Here in the great white north, they do retail normally for $399.00. Not sure about US pricing. No matter how you slice it though, the seller is waaaaaaaaaay over priced at $400. I emailed him again yesterday - can't figure the seller out. I asked about wire shelf whereabouts and why kettle...

    Found This Used....Help Please

Thanks to all that have responded. I've emailed the seller asking about the missing shelf, the fact it appears to have different vintage parts and why it's priced same as new. All in a polite tone of course.........I've not heard back so far and I expect I won't. I'm just going to let it slide...
