    Used Summit Charcoal Grill

Bob and Greg you're absolutely correct, it's only about 100miles on a Sunday morning drive, however I just can't justify spending 1500 on something I don't really need. But, if I could sell my MAK 2 star pellet grill/smoker for the price of the Summit, than I'd be LA bound. Thanks for the...

Performer Lid Handle Getting VERY HOT when using Vortex!!

I too have a Vortex that I use in my Platinum Performer. I changed the handle to a very attractive wooden one, however, when using the Vortex I use a glove to remove the lid. So no matter which handle you have it's going to get hot when using the Vortex. Good luck and good cooking Bill

Help with 3-Year-Old Genesis Drip Pan - The Foil Lining

Hi Rita, concerning your slide out drip tray, I would not line the tray with anything especially foil. The heat that would be reflected back up into the cook box would not be what Weber had in mind when they engineered your excellent grill. I use a plastic putty knife and a little simple green...

New E-330 Tested: Time to Temps and High / Low

Congrats Paul that's a beauty. The Genesis 330 is a cooking machine. When you're ready, take a good look at the Rotisserie for the 330. A whole lot of fun and there is so much you can spin. Good luck and great cooking. Bill

    Vortex size question

I would return the small for the medium if for no other reason than I'd always wonder if the medium would have been a better choice. Buyers remorse is something I don't want to deal with. Good luck with your decision. Bill

    Genesis E310 or E330

Hey Larry, now is a good time to buy a new Genesis. Weber is offering $100 off the original price which zeros out the extra $100 for the side burner. We can justify anything if we try hard enough. The sear station is an extra that you'll fall in love with. I love my S330 for grilling fast...

What do you wish you knew for your first smoke?

I wished I'd known to wait till the smoke turned to a thin light blue before putting my meat on the cooker. For me and my family the thick white smoke gives the meat an ash tray taste. Great thread Tim O, will be very informative, thanks for posting. Bill
