    Smokey Joe Platinum?

if you went the 18 ots route i guess you might have to put a bolt through each leg or they would fall out when you picked it up. a much easier task then drilling larger holes and installing a one touch. we use our sjp more now since we ran the kids off. also nice to have an 18 the fits easily...

    Smokey Joe Platinum?

yes thats a sjp. a nice thing to have after you get it to breathe properly. i drilled holes in mine, put in the one touch system and its great. but if i had it to do over, as george has suggested before, i'd pick up a used 18 ots and cut the legs off. much easier.

    Q220 or Q320

i was on the fence about the same thing last fall. i had decided on the 220 and went to pick it up and was offered a great deal on a genesis. i stll might get a 220 to leave at my folks house. the 220 is a lot of grill for the money. you cant lose either way as long as its a weber

sure pat that would be great thank you. i hadnt owned a otg until march but im sure my set up is identical to the 22. just put tape on the legs mark out the cut and let er rip? besides the rusty bar with the shape that my ash catcher is in it would be smarter to go with the new system. my...

New OTG 26 or a WSM?

i have both and i'd say definately get the wsm if only getting one. if getting both get the wsm first. the 26 costs twice what a 22 otg does for about 40% more space. that being said i knew i had to have one. i have a couple 26 bowls that came damaged and i keep dreaming of a 26 wsm doubt...

the bar that holds the ash catcher is very rusted and flimsy. it wont last much longer. weber said they dont make them anymore. i remember reading someone saying they used the new system and had to cut the legs for the tabs that hold the ring on. weber offered a new bowl, mounting hardware and...

i want one of those for my 22. my 2 boys could never make one of those. i knew we should have a had a girl. i wonder if one could be made for my 26 kettle too. guess if you made the opening big enough you could still use the slide aside

Why is a WSM so much $$$?

its worth every penny. i had a chargriller offset that was awfully hard to regulate temps.the powder coat paint kept burning off in spots and the cover leaked so then it would rust.it was ½ the cost and about ½ as good as the weber. the wsm is the easiest to use and longest lasting smoker...
