    Silver vs Gold

Nice idea with the pot.. I might add that if $$ is a concern keep a close eye out on your local craigslist often a gold can be had for a fraction of a new silver cost. I do like that the ashes are contained and not subject to wind.

    2010 One Touch Platinum-feedback?

I like the design but the fit and finish just doesn't seem as tight as it should be. Also the lid seems to be a thinner gauge material not sure on that?

Red Master-Touch via CL, brand new in box (pics)

I think I'm going to throw it in the attic covered I really have no need to cook on it maybe it will be handed down. I didn't even want to put it together but I had to see what it looked like.

Red Master-Touch via CL, brand new in box (pics)

Not sure I needed another kettle but I inquired on a CL ad that really didn't describe the grill other than 22 1/2, new, black, $45.00 No picture on the CL listing. This is what I came home with courtesy of a real nice guy who held it for me as I had to drive an hour or so...

    One Touch or Not

I would agree with george, keep that oldie if you can- you can't beat the vent control on the bottom. But if you are doing a bunch of direct high heat type cooking the ease of the one touch is great.

    new weber kettle rotisserie

I have to say that spending a month or so and 3 or 4 cooks with the roitss it is a great investment... the meat is out of this world. And the gadget factor works also.

    Breaking in the Performer-butts, pics

Hi Don- every once in a while I'll grab some Royal Oak at Walmart I just use it for quick direct type cooking. I guess there is better stuff out there than Kingsford but it's all I've ever used. I did grab a twin pack of the Competition today at Costco with the coupon, I've never used it...

    Breaking in the Performer-butts, pics

Got the performer for $125 I had been looking for one to fit that spot and get the kettle off the deck. Bought it from a great dude, a Marine, in fact he couldn't have the grill in the apartment complex. I had the the hose from a side burner setup I had before I got this one. Sure is handy..

    Breaking in the Performer-butts, pics

New guy here, hope I can post these pics right, hope they aren't too big? I picked up a nice next-to-new Performer on CL a few weeks ago, it hadn't seen any grease so on the butts go. I usually cook them on the kettle, the WSM is for larger cooks. Prepping with a piece of apple holding the...
