    restyle WSM

Jeez! I'm not drinkin' the Kool-Aide like the rabid Eggheads that banned me and I'm not givin' up my 22" bullets.....especially the pellet poopin' WSM! But hey! did Weber not redesign the new Rotisserie ring so that it rests on top of the bowl instead of inside, eliminating the gap...

    restyle WSM

I beg to differ - besides the pos aluminum door and cheap thermometer, the design of the lid and center section suck. The Cajun Bandit Kettle conversion and the Stackers I use don't have any issues with grease dripping over the sides. just sayin'!

    Pimp My 26.75" Kettle

Whats your ideas for shelves or side tables? I have some folding shelf brackets that would likely need a frame fab'd to bolt onto the legs since they are angled. I'm thinking something along the lines of what I did my Backwoods - going for the Stainless Steel Performer feel!

    Vortex for kettles

I was looking at my 18" kettle and I can see the Vortex as a worthwhile tool using it for Beer can Chicken. http://searandsmoke.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Thunderdome-Vortex-Brochure.pdf snooped around the Kamado forum and the only person that responded using one loved it with his...

    Vortex for kettles

I don't want to debate the prices of shipping vs the cost to fab a stainless steel conical ring, but can anyone really explain to me if the Vortex is any different than what I'm already using? Granted my examples aren't as sleek as the Vortex, and if the only argument is that its...

18" Red "G" OTS to OTG Transformation

Picked up this "G" over the Summer and kind of had it on the project list and a series of events led to this transformation from an OTS to an OTG. Touched up a few dings and rust spots. Buffed up the legs, triangle and a couple old style ashpans I was pondering ordering an OTG ashcan...

    WSM vs Backwoods Smoker thoughts

Apparently Google is not your friend! I have a Backwoods Gater- its about the size of the Fatboy, but comes standard with Stainless steel doors, 2" of insulation, 5 racks that will hold full size steam pans, heat diverter and removable waterpan. I've been using it for comps and cook brisket...

Cold Smoke Set up for WSM22?

Here is just one of my WSM cold smoking setups. A Smoke Daddy Big Kahuna with a Quick release air fitting through the stock Weber door. Here is a tutorial on smoking cheese on a ceramic that you can do on the bullet as well. http://www.nakedwhiz.com/smokedcheese/smokedcheese.htm The...

Which would you use for your Kettle Pizza

Personally, I would go with a kettle lid, but you are limited to your bullet over the 22" kettle. While I don't have any experience with the Kettle Pizza setup, I do cook pizzas on a Large BGE and use the plate setter legs down and set the stone on the ceramic feet to raise it higher in the...
