    Compound butter recipe

The amount of herbs I use when I make a compound butter sometimes depends on how soon I will use it. If I'm making some just to have on hand I tend to use less because there is more time for everything to meld together. As long as you use herbs that complement turkey I don't think you can go...

    Turkey and ham in WSM

I cook spiral cut hams in a pan for about 2 hours at 300+ degrees until 145-150 is reached internally. I baste with apple cider and finish w/ brown sugar. if you have a weber kettle you could cook the ham in there and use the wsm just for the turkey.

    Turkey and ham in WSM

Turkey on the bottom and ham on top in a foil pan so you can baste it (I'm assuming a spiral cut ham). I wouldn't want turkey drippings all over my ham. Smoke around 300 degrees.

    rotisserie turkey breast - skinless

Personally, I don't use a rub on turkey breasts. I just want to taste the smokey turkey goodness. I think you would be better off leaving the skin on while cooking and then remove it afterwards. You can spread the rub under the skin if you want.

    Turducken

I know I'm a few years past the big turducken craze but I decided to make one this year for the first time. I am planning on smoking it in the UDS for 2-3 hours and then finishing it in the oven. Anyone have any tips?

    weber starter cubes

I just made 24 fire starters for $1. I filled 2 paper egg cartons with dryer lint and poured wax over them. The $1 was spent on a 6 pack of emergency candles at Dollar Tree. I just used one and it worked great with no weird flavors added to the meat.

    Scored a redhead

No they are not. I found an old weber tabletop gas grill on Craigslist last night for $10. It looks like it was used once 12 years ago and put into storage. I bought it just for the handles but it's in great condition. Even came with the original box and instructions.

    Scored a redhead

Amazingly yes it's the same grill. I painted around the lid handle and under the top vent which had a large area where the porcelain chipped off (no before pic, sorry). The rest was just cleaning and a little paint on the leg holders. Before After

    Daisy Wheels

I just bought a red H model with the one touch system. I think this was probably a special or high end model and the the OTSys was worked down into the basic model over the next few years.

Here are the before pics. I'm not even sure where to start. The one touch system appears to be in good condition so hopefully I won't have to replace it. Thanks!
