I bought it at a thrift store so I have no clue. Its a 22 inch with 2 metal side handles. The vent says Bar-B-Q kettle..made in Arlington illinois.. Its a lot thicker steel and way heavier.

Put grates right on top of HOT coal and ring and wire brush them,, then I dump my still hot coal in my fire pit. Let it all cool off completely ,,,then store in garage w water pan and grates removed so no mold forms.. I also wash grates after brushing them if needed.

If it were me. Id keep both for a while. Then decide. I love my 18 inch WSM.. You can squeeze a whole packer brisket on it using the grate handles to hold it... then itt shrinks. However I would not mind having the big boy because it will hold whole racks of spare ribs but I seldom cook for more...

Plastic scraper for the smoker. Wire brush grates.. Wash good.. A couple HOT fires.. Keep the inside dry... :)

Ive had my 18 inch WSM over 20 years.. No rust yet AT ALL. I did a couple mods like handles on sides to lift center section off. I also added a SECOND charcoal grate and bolted it to the other one so coal dont fall through. You cant go wrong.. BUY IT..

For me.. in garage.. fuel door off and laid inside... ALL vents open.. grates and water bowl removed. It gets dusty a bit but never moldy.!!

Can you say RAINCHECK..!! I don't need any more grills or smokers LOL

I just bought one for $80... Ive had the 18 inch WSM 20 years but this little one will be usefull im sure. What do you all cook on your 14 inch smoker.? What works best on it?

New here. Proud owner of ... 22inch super OLD red BBQ kettle w metal handles. Its thicker, heavier.. A red 18inch woody. An old 18 portable kettle. 18 inch wsm (20+ years ive had this) 14 inch wsm ..new score off craigs list. Weber kettle rottiserie.. NO GASSERS allowed on my grid square..!! :)
