Picked up one of the new Travelers

Was able to get up and personal with the Traveler at Ace in Orangevale, CA yesterday. 1. Portability: while flat you hold on one end and the large wheels on the other end do all the work. It's balanced and not heavy. This WILL take up space in your car trunk. It was folded on the floor and took...

Charcoal grill gift ideas for father's day

Loved my Jumbo Joe! Was great to bring as there's a locking mechanism to keep the lid on and you can put your charcoal/tongs/spatula inside. It's 18.5" so there are more accessories (different grate options) and perfect for 2.

    My grate oil bottle dispenser

I retired from mountain biking and use my water bottles for oil. I can squeeze as much/little as I need. One is opaque so I can see how much I have left in it, others are from companies I worked for.

    Go-Anywhere Charcoal - Carry Case

If you want a Weber branded carrying case, it maybe a hard find. Why not measure it and look for a canvas duffel? Some folks don't like this site, but it's a good start to find the right size/price...

Picked up one of the new Travelers

Looks interesting! Does this fold/scissor down so you can wheel it like a dolly? How portable is it, compared to say a Q200x series? Been loving my Q220 since 2005 and it's still going strong, but your post piqued my interest :)

Broken side shelf support ideas to fix

Hi Chris, did you get a chance to try a zip tie?

Broken side shelf support ideas to fix

I see there is a hole perpendicular to the rod (OP pictures 2 and 3). Would it possible to put a zip tie or wire to secure the rod? Example: in OP picture 1 zip tie enters hole from left to right tie will go under rod loop over the top then back into hole

    Sam’s Club Oven Cleaner question

Sounds like this cleaner needs to be handled with care. I'm going to look into Dawn Power Dissolver, or Carbon-Off (thank you for the suggestion Ed Pinnell)

    My Q station

Sweet looking table! I took off the side tables that fold into the Q and never looked back. I repurposed a Weber gasser to make a table. https://tvwbb.com/threads/table-for-my-jumbo-joe-and-q220.67288/ I have 2 more gassers and gave/sold what was salvageable and kept the frames for future...

    Winco meat prices.

Closest Winco that I know of is 120 miles away from me :( Cool thing is it's 2 miles away from my parents in Orangevale so I may bring a cooler next time (?) I visit. Tri Tip trimmed is $4.99/lb at Smart&Final which isn't bad because any less is untrimmed and they leave so much fat.

    Portable Jumbo Joe

I bought Weber hinged grates for my Jumbo Joe at Target at the end of the season on clearance. I'm 99% sure the grate is 18.5" and can be bought anywhere: https://www.google.com/search?q=hinged+weber+grate+18.5 If you have a Home Depot, Ace or Lowe's close by, bring your Jumbo Joe to be 100%...

    Weber emblems

A few weeks ago I cleaned, repainted and started to sand these down but my buddy changed his mind. I'm thinking $5 each + shipping https://photos.app.goo.gl/xtovGxonPJt5qzhK9

Thanks for the tips!!! I'm working with 2 folks now about shipping. It's a little extra work for me, but I'm glad these parts are saved from the dump.
