BRITU Recipe - Modification for 22.5" WSM?

Hey Bob, Thanks for having a look. The only things I was concerned about was the amount of charcoal used in the recipe, and the amount of wood. Didn't know if it would translate well over to the 22.5" WSM or not. Only cooked on my WSM once so far. :D

BRITU Recipe - Modification for 22.5" WSM?

Hello all, I'd like to follow the BRITU recipe (http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/rib1.html) as closely as I can, but I have the 22.5" WSM, and the recipe was written for the 18.5" WSM. Has anyone done the BRITU recipe on a 22.5" WSM, and what changes did you make? Thanks in advance! Tom

    PartyQ not working

Shayne, FYI... the batteries in my PartyQ only last 6-8 hrs TOPS. For long cooks over 6-8 hrs, I always have to swap in new batteries. Hope this info is helpful in some way. -Tom

Thanks for the welcome messages, guys! I think I will join in on the Smoke Day festivities by trying to do a pork butt and a slab or two of ribs! Can't think of a better way to celebrate my 44th birthday. :D

    Hello from Kansas City!

Greetings to all the TVWBB dudes! Being from Kansas City, I've grown up loving BBQ, and always wishing I could do it myself. Last year, I decided to get serious about it, but still reluctant to completely dive in with a new smoker purchase, I opted to get the Smokenator and PartyQ for...

    PartyQ not working

I've had a PartyQ for a year or so now. I've noticed with mine that it can really start to act flaky when the batteries start to lose power, even before the "Low Batt" indicator is on. If you haven't yet, try another set of known good fresh batteries. Worth a shot at least until BBQGuru...
