    Sugar in the raw for rub

    Who uses Sugar in the Raw (sometimes called Turbinado) in their rub? I always used brown sugar, but often leave it out due to it burning over long cooks. Does Raw Sugar work better for this? I like the taste of sugar in my rubs, but don't like it when it burns.

    I have a 2006 or 2007 model Performer w the Touch N Go propane ignition system. I have ready others on here talking about Performer w/Touch N Go and EZ Q. What is the EZ Q?? I thought I bought the top of the line Performer at the time, did i miss something?
