Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the comments! I purchase Stefan's grill and it works a charm. He did a great job making it look like new (even better than new I reckon!) - would recommend his refurbs to anyone looking for a 'new' Weber.

Hi Jon, I've been lurking and looked at that bbqguys you linked too - it does look nice! - one reason I've joined is to ask if someone did have that type of money to spend, how would they go about finding that ultimate restored classic genesis? Is there an internet marketplace for quality used...

I'm in the market for a Weber, so have joined the forum to see what's out there. Been looking at a new spirit of genesis 3 burner...but reading some interesting threads about refurbished ones on here!
