    CI grates?s

I have had good luck using peanut oil in a small Kerr jar with a natural bristle paint brush before and after every cook, Then once and awhile I throw the grates in my fire pit and they come out factory fresh looking, then more peanut oil.

    Mother's mag and aluminum polish

Very nice, I'm thinking about painting my rusty tri-angles to match the color of my grills, A shiny brown and red on yours might be just stunning, even jet black. Your grills are simply beautiful!

    My $5 Red Head

Very rough shape, no date letter, three wheeler, no thumb screws on legs and plastic wheels so I'm guessing 75-79. I wonder if it's spent it's whole life put together wrong, handle should be so you could pull and roll it. Don't know what to do with it, maybe sell it for $15...

What was your best kettle accessory purchase?

Craycort grates hands down my favorite. I dont cook on wire. Slide-aside lid holder is great, The smokenator works very well for me, yes you can use bricks but on my 18 its very convenient space wise. Everybody has there own favs, these are mine.

    Jerky on the Big Chief

Had some old flank steak in the back of the freezer so I made some jerky on my Big Chief. I smoke chicken then finish on my gasser on days I work. The thing works pretty well. My dogs get more jerky than we do. http://good-times.webshots.com...43780043540764ICtTke...
