    Summit 450 thermometer

Thank you ever so much Chris. Is yours really a 1998 model ?

    Summit 450 thermometer

Sounds like the only solution is the route Larry took. Weber has a 60393 temp gauge, mount is different, but size is right. Or I could snoop around the housewares dept. and go full custom. Temp gauge or not, the burgers still come off the grill charred and juicy.

    Summit 450 thermometer

You know all too well, being a first hander. You dont know the part number by chance ? I thought I had the parts list downloaded with the owners manual, but cant find it.

    Summit 450 thermometer

No, thats not it. The probe is longer as to use as a meat thermometer. The diameter sounds right though. Its like the Genesis type, that slides in and out.

    Summit 450 thermometer

No legible number on it. Its a Summit 450, 1st generation.

    Summit 450 thermometer

My thermometer died. Looked on Webers site, shows it no longer available. Anyone know what part # might fit this thing ? This is the first generation Summit I think. Thanks for any ideas. In an ironic twist of fate, the thermometer on my Genesis Silver died this winter also. Both of these have...

    Genesis burner problem

The Summit 450 I just did took a 3mm thread that a 2 mm allen wrench fit. YMMV.

    Thank you.

    LP regulator

Recently picked up a Summit 450, not a E, not a S, just a 450. Weber keeps asking for a serial #, for the life of me, I cant find a serial # or model # on this thing. Webers parts breakdown does NOT list part #s. I know its a Summit 450. Does anyone have the part # for a LP hose and regulator ...

    Screw size

Yes, like stated above, they felt nice going in, did not want to wreck the valves, new manifold shows $155. MY Summit 450 has quite small screws, compared to the unit in the utube video which clearly has larger screws and different looking valves. Guessing mine is older. Could not find a serial...

    Screw size

Mystery solved, at least for MY Summit 450. Saw a Utube video that showed someone doing the valves on what looked like a Summit 450, BUT, the screws looked like regular sized, and the valves looked like a black plastic body. Mine are all metal and the screw is WAY smaller. After a trip to the...

    Screw size

New guy here, working on my manifold valves. What thread size are those LITTLE screws that hold the stem of the valve to the body ? Propane, if it matters. Tried to search it out, but never really found a positive identification. Thanks.
